Welcome to the LocalSearchWorks.com official blog. In this first blog post we’ll share why we have a blog, and demonstrate why one is needed.

To share a bit of my experience, I’ve been building and marketing websites for local in-home service businesses since 1995. It’s a facinating subject. If you were to ask me how to market your local in-home service business online you would get tired of listening long before I finished talking. Instead of giving people too much information, it’s better to send them to this blog where they can read as much or little as they want.

Take a look at the previous paragraph again. At first glance, one might not notice, but it’s loaded with keyword phrases, such as:

“building and marketing websites for local in-home service businesses”

“market your local in-home service business online”

These are excellent keyword phrases for our site, so when people do a Google search with similar phrases, there is a greater chance they will find us, just like you did.

Blogs can provide desired content to their readers, and keywords are what you use to draw in new visitors and hopefully convert them into regular readers and ultimately customers.
